As parents, it’s easy to forget to take a moment for yourself.
One simple thing that helped me: put on music and just move.
No need to be “good” at dancing. No steps to learn. Simply follow the rhythm and let your body do whatever it wants.
It’s surprisingly effective as a quick mental reset, a way to clear your head and release built-up tension. Through dance, we celebrate life—even in the middle of everything.
Last year I picked Zumba back up and became an instructor. I’m grateful to have met all the wonderful people that inspired me.
