Whether you're seeking answers or just starting the journey of parenting a neurodivergent child, you’ll find information that’s clear, kind, and helpful. We understand how many questions can come up when looking for autism support for immigrant families, and how hard it can be to know where to begin. That’s why we’re here to connect you with resources for parents of autistic children and guide you toward supportive communities that truly understand.

What to do when something feels off

Why Early Intervention is Important:

Early intervention taps into a child’s critical brain development window, boosting communication, social, and problem-solving skills. It lays a strong foundation for future learning, especially for children with delays or autism, and improves long-term outcomes. It also empowers families with tools to support their child’s growth and well-being.

Worried About Your Child’s Development?

Every child grows at their own pace, but if something feels off, trust your instincts. It’s okay to have questions. There are resources available to help you understand what might be going on and what steps you can take.

Concerned? Don’t Wait to Act

Noticing early signs of a developmental delay can make a big difference. Acting early gives you more time, options, and support to help your child thrive. The CDC offers clear guidance on what to look for and what steps to take.

Speak with Peds

If you have any concerns about your child’s development, trust your instincts and bring them up during your next visit—or schedule one sooner. You can talk about what you’ve noticed at home, ask questions, or share results from a CDC developmental screening. Pediatricians are there to listen, guide, and help you figure out the next steps. No concern is too small—your voice matters.

Your Next Steps, Age by Age
