On Sunday, July 26, 2026, the Starry Bridge Summer Sunday Flea Market brought together youth volunteers, inclusion families, and community members for a joyful afternoon of service, connection, and fun.
Our volunteers helped bring the event to life in so many ways. They promoted the flea market with handmade signs, organized a $5 car wash, moved and arranged sale items, and served snacks, ice cream, and popcorn. They also supervised the free bounce house and organized a lively water gun activity that quickly became a favorite among the children.
Most importantly, the day created opportunities for children of all abilities—including children with special needs—to participate, play, and enjoy the activities side by side. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere allowed families to connect naturally while the youth volunteers practiced teamwork, responsibility, and inclusive leadership.
The afternoon became even more special when everyone gathered to celebrate a birthday with cake. It was a simple but meaningful moment that captured the spirit of the day: a community coming together, sharing joy, and creating memories where everyone felt included.
